It has been announced earlier last week that David Tennant will star alongside Michael Sheen in Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s “Good Omens” on Amazon Prime Video.

David Tennant is taking on the role of a fast living demon, Crowley, opposite a somewhat fussy angel, Aziraphale, who will be played by Michael Sheen.

Good Omens is based on a book by Neil Gaiman, written in collaboration with Terry Pratchett, who passed away in 2015. You can now read up on the novel available now on both Amazon UK for £4.79 (paperback) and £10.49 (hardcover) and Amazon US for $6.78 (mass market paperback) and $15.10 (hardcover) the book is also available digitally on Kindle.

The series is set in 2018 where the world and the humanity are on the brink of apocalypse. An angel, Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and a demon, Crowley (David Tennant) who grow very fond of earth are not too happy about the final judgement and they can’t seem the find the Antichrist. Good Omens is a limited series with six, 1-hour episodes.

Neil Gaiman will also serve as writer and showrunner for the project. His writing credits including American Gods and Lucifer. Good Omens is co-produced by BBC Studios with Narrativia and the Blank Corporation and in association with BBC Worldwide for Amazon Prime Video and the BBC.
