It has been reported today that principle photography on ‘Fish Without Bicycles starts this month.
The Knowledge has posted that filming will begin in and around Stratford Upon Avon, running from October 31st till December 2nd.
This new feature film from creator and writer Daisy Aitkens will star David Tennant as obnoxious Scot John along with Lucy Punch (Bad Teacher), Faye Marsay (Game Of Thrones), and Nina Sosanya (W1A) They will be joined by Ingrid Oliver (Doctor Who), Peter Davison (Doctor Who), John Nettles (Midsomer Murders) and Gemma Jones (Harry Potter), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones) and Sarah Parish (W1A, Broadchurch).
‘Fish without Bicycles’ surrounds a determined career woman as she fights for her idea of the perfect family. But being a lesbian won’t stop her, neither will being 40, but when her wayward girlfriend falls pregnant after a drunken one-night stand – she may have pause for thought. That she herself is pregnant can only make matters more complicated. She has 9 months to decide if family can really be this crowded.
The film is produced by Phin Glynn (Mad To Be Normal), Georgia Tennant (96 Ways to Say I Love You) and Harriet Hammond (Mad To Be Normal) for Bad Penny Productions. Director of Photography is John de Borman (Quartet).
