More great news out of the 70th Annual Cannes Film Festival as Mad to be Normal is heading to Shanghai International Film Festival.
As reported by Screen Daily, Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) has announced a list of films to enter its main competition, the Golden Goblet Awards, and Mad to be Normal is among the participants.
Robert Mullen’s Mad to be Normal starring David Tennant, Elizabeth Moss, and Michael Gambon is currently screening in selected cinemas across the UK. Check here for screenings near you.
Joining Mad to be Normal in the competition are Yasuo Furuhat’s Reminiscence (Japan), Dave McCary’s Brigsby Bear (US), Cătălin Saizescu’s Fault Condition (Romania), Maciej Pieprzyca’s I’m A Killer (Poland), Ivan Bolotnikov’s Kharms(Russia), and Markus Goller’s My Brother Simple (Germany)
Also attending the Cannes are David Tennant’s 2 other films, Bad Samaritan and You, Me And Him.
Dean Devlin and Electric Entertainment‘s Bad Samaritan has scored key sales in 3 major markets. Atlas has acquired rights for Germany, Imagem for Latin America, and Eagle for the Middle East.
You, Me and Him has screenings on Wednesday May 17th at 11:30AM at Olympia 9 and Saturday May 20th at 5:30PM at Olympia 6.
Also screening is Mad to be Normal which takes place on Sunday May 21st at 2PM at Gray 1.
