Ireland’s leading film festival, Galway Film Fleadh, which started on July 11th, concluded today with announcement of winners in numbers of categories.
Mad to be Normal took home winner in Best International Feature award. The film starred David Tennant, Elisabeth Moss, Gabriel Byrne & Michael Gambon. It’s directed by Robert Mullan, who also attended the event.
Galway Film Fleadh welcomes diversity of filmmaking from around the world. The festival attracts international and national films as well as directors, actors, cinematographers, and artists. You can check out full list of winners here.

David Tennant plays an infamous Scottish psychiatrist R. D. Laing world-famous for his non-traditional and controversial treatment of schizophrenia. In the 1960s, he established medication-free community at Kingsley Hall where the patients lived side by side with their doctors.
