Ever wanted to exterminate your mother-in-law? Have work colleague that you wouldn’t mind if they went missing? Didn’t get that last raise or that day off? Is your brother, sister or other relative just plain annoying? Or do you just like Doctor Who cosplay?

Well we have the app for you!!!

With Doctor Who: EyeStalk you can have your enemies at your mercy. Licenced by BBC, Doctor Who and Terry Nation, this official app lets you use your iPhone, iPad or iPod to take photos and movies from the point of view of a Dalek. You can even pick your favourite version of Dalek to get rid of your problems.

The Daleks available for you to exterminate your enemies are:

•Power/Mk3 – Black and White with 60’s style scan lines
•Victory – Blue monochrome with clear centre and blurred hex regions
•Doomsday – Blue monochrome with bump distortion in centre and blurred hex regions
•Paradigm – Light blue monochrome with bump distortion centre and overlaid sight
•Destiny – Red monochrome with grey concentric circles
•Remembrance – Green thermal image with 80’s style graticule.
•Asylum – Grey monochrome with bump distortion in the centre and blurred hex regions

So how do you use it?

With the app your camera is transformed into the Dalek interface. Use the front or rear camera to take pictures or video or even use your existing images. They are distorted and saved ready to be shared on your favourite social media including Facebook, Twitter, Flicker, Evernote, Email or SMS/iMessage.

The photos are fun. We spent most of the afternoon taking pictures of everything and everyone. Our favourite effect was from the Doomsday, but we loved them all. However the best part was the video – both the audio and video are recorded, so adding a few of our own ‘sound effects’ and a bit of running, we have a number of silly videos of being chased by a Dalek. And since the images and video are captured raw mode, more affects can be applied later. Not exactly getting a part as the next companion or as the Doctor but great fun nevertheless.

We would have loved to have the ability to include some music and of course a random EXTERMINATE button would be a blast, but overall it is great app and well worth the money for the fun it creates. A must for any Doctor Who fan – either classic or modern.

Available for purchase at Apple Apps Store for £1.49 or $1.99
