Issue #440 of Doctor Who Magazine went on sale today in the UK. A special issue dedicated to the late Elisabeth Sladen it features tributes from the stars and crews of Doctor Who and the Sarah Jane Adventures as well as those who met her through the magazine and Big Finish. The magazine also includes a feature on Elisabeth’s career and the last interview that she gave them in 2010, which has not been published in full until now.

David Tennant plays moving tribute to Elisabeth Sladen, recounting his earliest memories of watching her on Doctor Who to the surreal experience of hearing her call him ‘Doctor’ on his first day on the show.
