Revised Release Date for The Shakespeare Sonnets iPad App

The new Shakespeare’s Sonnets iPad app has had its release date slightly revised.
It was originally believed that the app would be released today. However, Touch Press have confirmed to DT Forum that the product has been submitted to the Apple app store and they are now expecting it to be ready to purchase from iTunes on Thursday 28th June.
The app features specially recorded readings of all of Shakespeare’s sonnets from a multitude of actors, including David Tennant, Dominic West, Kim Cattrall, Sir Patrick Stewart, Stephen Fry, Fiona Shaw, Ben Crystal and John Heffernan. The readings are complemented by the text and complete Arden notes giving a full and invaluable commentary on the works. The project is a joint production between Illuminations Media, the Touch Press, Faber and Faber and the Arden Shakespeare.
