Release Date Announced for The Shakespeare's Sonnets App

The Shakespeare’s Sonnets iPad app featuring readings by David Tennant, Sir Patrick Stewart and Fiona Shaw will be available from the Apple store from Monday 11th June. The release date was published online by The Stage earlier today.

 

The new release is the partner project of Illuminations, Touch Press, the Arden Shakespeare and Faber & Faber. It features specially filmed readings of the 154 Sonnets by a host of actors and performers, who also include Kim Cattrall and Stephen Fry. The app also includes the complete Arden notes for each sonnet, making it an invaluable resource for any fan or student of Shakespeare.
