There will be an early chance to see the first episode of True Love, the brand new drama from the BBC starring David Tennant when it is screened for free in Margate at the end of this month.

The screening will be held at the Turner Contemporary Art Gallery in the seaside town on Thursday 29th March from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. The screening will be introduced by director Dominic Savage. Tickets are free but booking is essential. To reserve your seat either phone 01843 233020 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

True Love is a five part series consisting of five overlapping stories, which were developed from an outline by Savage but improvised by the actors on set. It is set in Margate, Dominic Savage’s hometown, of which he says:

“Margate is such a fantastic place to make a film. It has such great locations which actually have a real romance about them and posses a unique atmosphere which is very suited to a series of love stories. Being my home town it also has a special and personal resonance for me. I’m looking forward to coming back.”

David Tennant appears in the first episode of the series. Other episodes star Ashley Walters, Billie Piper, David Morrissey and Jane Horrocks. It will be screened on BBC1 in April.
