David Tennant & Catherine Tate: Much Ado About Nothing

Much Ado About Nothing starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate is now available as a digital download. Digital Theatre have made the hugely successful West End production available from today (December 13th) as a rental or to own.

The play was filmed during the final week of its summer run at Wyndham’s theatre. Its arrival online comes as a welcome relief to fans who were disappointed last week when a DVD release was released on Amazon only to be withdrawn a few days later. Digital Theatre teased fans a few hours before the big announcement by posting a series of quotes from Much Ado About Nothing on their Twitter feed.

The play is available in three formats:

  • Online Rental - £5.99 Available in personal library for 30 days, with a 48 hour viewing window once playback has started
  • SD Download - £8.99 Standard quality download to keep forever
  • HD Download - £10.99 High definition download to keep forever

Full details on how to buy productions and how to download the media player are available on the Digital Theatre website

In spite of the huge interest in the production and the large numbers attempting to download from the site there have been very few reported problems. If you do have any issues, Digital Theatre have a support section on their site. Alternatively, DT-Forum members can check out the Digital Theatre FAQ thread in the Computer Problems board in the Help section.
