David Tennant will be featuring in a number of UK TV listings magazines tomorrow to promote the new BBC1 series True Love which begins this Sunday.

As suggested by the magazine a little while ago, David is the cover star of the new issue of the Radio Times where he is interviewed about the improvised drama. He says of the experience “It wasn’t what I expected. We were given a storyline, but no dialogue, which I’ve never done before…”

David also talks about his time on Doctor Who:

“Doctor Who opened more doors than it closed. I was never bored, but I wanted to make sure I left before it became a job. I’m very glad it happened. Mercifully, I haven’t been typecast.”

The issue also chats to David’s True Love co-star Lacey Turner about life after Eastenders, including her new role in supernatural thriller Bedlam.
