David Tennant has lent his support to the Reading Force Campaign, which aims to keep Forces families united by encouraging parents posted overseas to read the same book as their children are reading back home and then discuss the storylines over the web. The project is run by a team from Kingston University in London, headed by Alison Baverstock.

Chloe Armstrong of Connaught School, Aldershot won the prize for her area which was the opportunity to attend the recording by David of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flies Again, which was released as an audio download just before Christmas.
