Thanks to the very lovely people at Touch Press we have a preview clip of David Tennant reading Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18 for the brand new iPad app that is due to be released later this month.

The app collects together all 154 of Shakespeare’s sonnets plus the Dedication from the 1609 quarto edition along with texts, interviews and notes. The sonnets are read to camera by a number of illustrious stars of stage and screen, including David, Sir Patrick Stewart and Stephen Fry. The project is a joint venture between Touch Press, Faber and Faber Publishers, The Arden Shakespeare and Illuminations who, of course, brought us the filmed version of Hamlet starring David and Sir Patrick.
