David Tennant Reads Episode 10 Of Stonemouth Tonight

David Tennant reads the tenth and final episode of Stonemouth by Iain Banks for Book At Bedtime on BBC Radio 4 tonight.

 

Stewart Gilmour has returned to the Scottish estuary town of Stonemouth after five years in exile to attend the funeral of local crime boss Joe Murston. But any promises of a truce seem to be forgotten as he starts to spend more time with his former lover Ellie and incurs the wrath of her brothers. The synopsis for the tenth episode reads:

 

Iain Banks' novel concludes tonight with a reunion of childhood friends on the beach. Stewart and Ellie think of their future, but her brother has other ideas.

 

Book At Bedtime: Stonemouth can be heard at 10.45pm on BBC Radio 4.
