Nativity 2: The Second Coming will appear in UK cinemas on Friday 23^rd November 2012.

The date has been listed on the Film Distributors Association website and also on FilmDates.

David Tennant, who plays twin teachers in the film, only completed shooting on 29^th November. The Peterson brothers find themselves as rivals in a Christmas song competition, and the plot also involves a misjudged road trip, a magic donkey, a birth and an amphibious bus. Marc Wootton, Ben Wilby, Jason Watkins and Pam Ferris all reprise their roles from the original Nativity! They are joined by Joanna Page and Ian McNeice. As with the original the film is directed by Debbie Isitt.
