Following closely on the heels of his quintet of late night vampire tales, David Tennant returns once again to BBC Radio 4 with another literary offering, albeit of a more family-friendly variety. This time David will be narrating a version of the classic Robert Browning poem The Pied Piper Of Hamelin.

David is joined in the cast by Bertie Gilbert, the young actor who has already appeared in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 and alongside Sir Patrick Stewart in Macbeth. Music for the production is written by John and Joyce Harle and performed by chorister Thomas Platts of Canterbury Cathedral and the choir of Wingham School, Kent.

The thirty-minute production is due to be broadcast on Monday 26th December on BBC Radio 4 at 11.30am. For more details, read the BBC programme page.
