Richard is King. A monarch ordained by God to lead his people. But he is also a man of very human weakness. A man whose vanity threatens to divide the great houses of England and drag his people into a dynastic civil war that will last 100 years.
David is joined by Oliver Ford Davies, Michael Pennington and Nigel Lindsay who give outstanding performances in their own right. On the role of King Richard, Tennant adds: “He’s not a hero at all. He’s quite a complicated character. So I’m daunted by the prospect of doing it justice but very excited to get a chance.”
To reserve a pair of tickets for the RSC cinematic production of Richard II starring David Tennant, complete the following registration form.
