A brief interview with David Tennant was shown on the CBBC show Newsround earlier today. Presenter Joe Tidy recorded the interview when he visited the Nativity 2 film set in Stratford-upon-Avon a couple of weeks ago to talk to David and his fellow cast members about the film.
David was asked a number of questions about Christmas. He said that one of his favourite Christmas things was all the great TV and getting the Radio Times to plan what he was going to watch. He revealed that his best ever Christmas present was an Astro Wars video game – one of these, which was cutting edge technology back in the 1980s! He claimed never to have had a bad present and that he loved them all.
David said that he loved Christmas dinner, the full works with turkey, sprouts and stuffing.
When asked about his favourite Christmas song, he said that it used to be ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ but lately he prefers Tim Minchin’s ‘White Wine In The Sun’. Coincidently, Tim Minchin announced today that all proceeds from sales of ‘White Wine In The Sun’ between now and February will go to the National Autistic Society. You can buy it via iTunes here.
