David Tennant continues to read the new Iain Banks novel Stonemouth today for BBC Radio 4′s Book At Bedtime. The synopsis for tonight’s episode, the eighth part, is as follows:


Ignoring the threats from Ellie’s brothers, she and Stewart are spending more and more time together. However, when everyone gathers for Joe Murston’s funeral tensions rise.

Stonemouth is produced by David Roper and is a Heavy Entertainment production for BBC Radio 4. It can be heard at 10.45pm tonight.


Also on the airways today, BBC Radio 4 Extra continue their repeat broadcasts of David’s radio sitcom Double Income No Kids Yet. David Tennant plays Daniel in the show, with Elizabeth Carling as Lucy. In this second series episode, originally broadcast in 2002, Lucy joins a school reunion site, and Dan’s best mate Andy is surprised with whom she makes contact.


Double Income No Kids yet can be heard at 9am today on BBC Radio 4 Extra with a repeat at 2am early tomorrow morning.


Both shows will be able to listen to again for seven days via BBC iPlayer
